How to replace the Camshaft Position Sensor on Bank 2 (Left Side) Intake on Chevrolet Traverse? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step to replace bank 2 (Left Side) intake position Camshaft Position Sensor is to remove the engine mount strut bracket. The first step requires disconnecting the radiator inlet hose from the water outlet. Remove the power steering fluid reservoir bracket bolts before moving the power steering fluid reservoir bracket to a different location. The removal process starts with unplugging the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the bank 2 intake camshaft position (CMP) sensor followed by sensor bolt removal and sensor extraction. Insert the cmp sensor followed by installing the bolt and apply 10 nm (89 lb in) torque to it. You must connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the bank 2 intake cmp sensor before positioning and securing the power steering fluid reservoir bracket with its bolts to 9 nm (8 lb in). Put the radiator inlet hose back onto the water outlet followed by the engine mount strut bracket.
