To replace the Air Inlet Valve Actuator, one should discard the fuse named HVAC CTRL (BATT) and retainer on the instrument panel (I/P). Pull out the actuator's electrical connector, and then unscrew and remove the actuator. During installation, make sure the key is in the OFF position to ensure proper connection of the electrical connectors for calibration is done correctly. Mount the recirculation actuator and then fasten it, tighten to 2.2 Nm (19 lb in), using the screw. Reconnect the recirculation connecter and replace the I/P retainer.
