Put the j 45759 (Assembly Fixture) onto the Transfer Case by using four appropriate bolts for installation. Position the j 3289-20 (Holding Fixture) onto a reliable workbench surface for mounting. Place the j 45759 (Assembly Fixture) with the Transfer Case into the j 3289-20 (Holding Fixture) then fasten it with the pivot pin. Due to the absence of a seal-preventing shoulder, the j 45278 (Seal Remover) should be used to maintain seal control during removal. Some installation will need the j 23907 (Slide Hammer with Bearing Adapter) in combination with j 45278 (Seal Remover) to take out the input shaft seal from the Transfer Case followed by seal disposal. The j 45934 (Input Seal Installer) with a hammer will install the new input shaft seal inside the Transfer Case until it achieves its specified depth. As the final step install the Transfer Case assembly without the j 45759 (Assembly Fixture).
