How to replace the front disc brake pads on 2010 Chevrolet Equinox?

In order to change the front disc brake pads, examine the level of the brake master cylinder fluid. Lift the vehicle, take off the tire and compress the brake caliper piston with a C-clamp. Take out the brake caliper and pads and fit new ones as required and assemble. Lastly, fill the reservoir and burnish pads and rotors.
