After removing the power Brake Booster nuts workers should handle the power Brake Booster followed by the power Brake Booster gasket inspection for possible replacement if there is any damage. Begin by attaching the new power Brake Booster gasket and afterward install the power Brake Booster. Fasten the power Brake Booster nuts by using 36 nm (27 lb ft) torque. Use high temperature lubricant gm p/n 12345994 (Canadian P/N 10953501) as a thin coat on the brake pedal pivot pin. Place the power Brake Booster pushrod retaining clip on the brake pedal pivot pin groove before turning it 360 degrees for a complete insertion fit. The o-ring seals must be placed correctly on the power Brake Booster hose fittings before connecting and tightening the outlet hose fitting to 33 nm (24 lb ft) followed by the inlet hose fitting tightened to 33 nm (24 lb ft). The master cylinder gets installed when the power steering system bleeds correctly.
