Next, move the coolant reservoir outlet hose clamp with J 38185 and remove the outlet hose. There are steps to the removal process that need to be followed in order to get the coolant reservoir off of the vehicle; remove the coolant reservoir retaining bolt then tilt the coolant reservoir assembly and remove the electrical connector. For installation, connect the electrical connector of the coolant reservoir, and lubricate the inner diameter of hoses with a clean coolant. Install coolant reservoir and ensure the retaining bolt is tightened up to 9 Nm (80 lb in). Reattach the outlet hose, and reinstall the outlet hose clamp into place with J 38185 reposition it, then install the inlet hose currently reinstall the clamp. Lastly, connect the overflow hose and modify the cooling system.
