A new o-ring seal requires installation on the oil level indicator tube with clean engine oil lubrication of the o-ring seal (421). You should position the oil level indicator tube (420) between the Exhaust Manifold and engine block, then raise and support the vehicle while inserting the tube so that its collar touches the block surface. The installation starts with lowering the vehicle to place the oil level indicator tube bolt (419) which requires tightening to 25 nm (18 lb ft).
