  A: Uncover the steering column parts before continuing by reinstalling the abrasion sleeve and taking note of the connector position on the wire harness assembly. Take out the wire harness assembly from the wire harness strap and disconnect the Turn Signal Switch from the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil connector. Pull apart the two connectors from the bulkhead connection of the Turn Signal Switch. Remove the Turn Signal Switch bolts and take the switch out of the tilt head steering column assembly. Position the Turn Signal Switch onto the steering column tilt head assembly so that its electrical contact lies on top of the turn signal cancel cam assembly. Use the bolts to secure the Turn Signal Switch into place by tightening them to 1 nm (11 lb in). Insert the two connectors of the Turn Signal Switch into bulkhead connector while joining the Turn Signal Switch with the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil connector. Fit the abrasion sleeve back to its place on the steering column wire harness assembly as you guide wires from the ignition lock cylinder case to their slots. Fit the wire harness assembly to the wire harness strap then install back the steering column trim covers.
