How to replace the fuel level sensor in a 15 Ext/Crew Cab with a 26-gallon tank on 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500?

The first step to replace the Fuel Level Sensor in a 15 ext/crew cab with 26-gallon fuel tank is removing the fuel tank module. Users need to disconnect the wiring pigtail electrical connector of the Fuel Level Sensor from the module cover before they can remove it from the module clip. First position the Fuel Level Sensor retainers so they gently push away from the module reservoir until they detach. Next move the Fuel Level Sensor upward to take it out from the module slot. To install the Fuel Level Sensor you should guide the new sensor into the slot of the reservoir before allowing its retainers to lock into position with the module reservoir. You should place the wiring pigtail under the module clip behind the fuel pump wires before connecting the electrical connector to the module cover.
