How to replace the cellular communications/digital radio antenna on 2010 GMC Canyon?

The process begins by lowering only the front section of the car's headliner before replacing the Cellular Communications/Digital Radio Antenna. Start by disconnecting the digital radio antenna electrical connectors followed by bolting out the antenna retaining hardware. From the roof panel use a plastic retainer compression to disengage the antenna assembly before pulling it upward off the roof. Before antenna assembly installation on the roof position the antenna on top of the roof surface with proper pin indexing and then lower it to fit onto the roof panel. Mount the antenna assembly after inserting its retainer bolt. Secure the bolt with 6 Nm of torque (53 lb in). Proceed to attach the antenna electrical wiring. Finally, reinstall the headliner.
