How to replace the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) on the Aisin AR5 manual transmission on 2010 GMC Canyon?

Before working on the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) of the aisin ar5 manual transmission you must lift and stabilize the vehicle. Pull the electrical connector off from the vss and take out both the vss as well as its rubber seal. For proper installation put the new vss sealed with o-ring onto the correct threads until reaching 17 nm or 13 pound-foot force. When done reconnect the vss electrical connector before putting the vehicle back on the ground.
