An appropriate tool should be used to suction and dispose of the brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir. Use denatured alcohol to clean the master cylinder assembly until it fully dries after removing all dirt and debris accumulation. Start by disconnecting the brake fluid level indicator switch electrical connector before you uninstall the master cylinder secondary brake pipe fitting while sealing the brake pipe fitting and covering the master cylinder outlet port to stop fluid loss and keep it clean. Move on to disconnect the master cylinder primary brake pipe fitting by capping the brake pipe fitting along with the master cylinder outlet port plug.
