How to replace the front brake line on 2010 GMC Canyon?

Begin the brake hose replacement process by raising the vehicle and taking off the front tire and wheel set. Prime the whole Brake Line system before removing all dirt from inside the brake hoses and pipes. Unscrew the brake pipe using a back up wrench at its end fitting while installing a fitting cover to protect the system from fluid leakage and debris. Pull out the brake hose from the frame and check the retaining clip for damage. Replace it when the metal is either bent down or broken. First detach the front brake hose clip at its frame location. Afterward unfasten the bolt and gaskets from the brake caliper to remove the brake hose. Take off the copper gaskets from the brake hose bolt to avoid them sticking to the caliper or bolt. Install new metal copper gaskets on the brake hose before fitting the brake caliper bolt and tightening it to 40 nm (32 lb ft). Insert the brake hose to the brake pipe on this exposure and snap the plug off. Maintain the hose straight and avoid suspension parts. After connecting the brake hose you need to tighten the fitting with the back up wrench to 17 nm (13 lb ft) while making sure the new brake pipe clip engages correctly. Drain the brake fluid before putting on the tire and wheel assembly plus lowering the car.
