    A: In order to replace the rear axle housing cover and gasket, first lift the vehicle. Take them off the rear axle cover. Place an appropriate drain pan beneath the axle and unbolt the rear cover mounting bolts and remove rear cover along with different gasket from the differential housing. Drain the rear axle. Clean the surface on which the rear cover and gasket are set and the differential housing, then install the retainer and mounting bracket for the rear brake pipe, then install the mounting bolt for the mounting bracket and tighten it by hand. Then install the axle housing cover and gasket, and bolt the mounting bolts, tightening them to 30 Nm (22 lb ft). Install retaining bolt for the brake pipe retainer and tighten to a torque of 20 Nm (14 lb ft). Fill the rear axle full, and then lower the car.
