How to replace the Hood Cable on 2010 GMC Canyon?

To replace the Hood Primary Latch Cable, remove the grille and the hood latch. Release the cable from the latch assembly and record the route the cable is taking. Remove the cable from the release handle, and pull it through the cowl panel. Install the new cable with the help of mechanic wire, then reconnect everything.
