As a replacement of Manual Shift Detent Lever with Shaft Position Switch Assembly, take away the transmission oil pan and filter. Remove some of the parts and the manual shaft seal. Check parts against damage, remove manual shift detent lever pin, and put in the new assembly and parts and reattach the oil pan and filter.
