How to replace the rear sway bar link in the suspension on 2010 GMC Canyon?

The first step for Sway Bar Link change in the rear suspension requires you to lift the vehicle with support for the rear axle at its proper height. It is safer to use the hex feature of the Sway Bar Link stud rather than touching the boot portion to prevent damages. The Sway Bar Link installation begins by taking off the upper nut then the lower nut before removing the Sway Bar Link. The hex feature of the stud must be used throughout installation to protect the boot from damage. Fasten the Sway Bar Link before tightening the lower nut to 44 nm (32 lb ft) and the upper nut to 44 nm (32 lb ft). To complete the installation lower the vehicle while taking out the axle support.
