Starting with bolt removal from check assembly cover next step is removing the cover from the stepwell. Drain the track retaining nuts of the check assembly before extracting the assembly from the sliding side door lower track. People should position the check assembly onto the sliding side door lower track before securing it to the track with two nuts according to fastener safety guidelines and tightening the nuts to 10 Nm (89 lb in). Install the side door stepwell mat as the last step.
