How to replace the starter motor on a V8 engine on 2010 GMC Savana 2500?

In order to change the starter motor of a V8 engine, one should disconnect the negative battery connector and lift the car. Unbolt the oil level sensor and unbolt the required bolts. Move the starter forward, and remove leads, placing the starter on a workbench. In order to install it, reverse the steps and reconnect with the battery cable.
