Robustrong To install a generator on a V8 engine, remove the accessory drive belt, disconnect the negative battery, and remove the generator. Loose the electrical connector and cable of the generator, and the bolts. Install the new generator, stabilize the cable, reconnection of the electrical connector, and the drive belt. Lastly, re-attach the battery cable.
