The first step is disconnecting the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the Throttle Body before removing the Throttle Body bolts for removal of the component along with its gasket. Discard the old gasket. After installing a new Throttle Body gasket into the upper Intake Manifold you should position the Throttle Body onto the manifold. Screw and tighten the Throttle Body bolts until they reach 10 nm at 89 lb in torque.
