  A: Starting the left Engine Mount replacement task for 1500 vehicles must begin with removing the air cleaner outlet duct except rpos ly2 and ly6. The removal of front drive axle should be performed when the vehicle incorporates four-wheel drive. First lower the vehicle and proceed to remove the generator bracket. Start by removing Engine Mount to frame bolts and then lift the vehicle until it reaches halfway height. Get rid of the left wheelhouse liner but do not rest the engine with the crankshaft balancer or Oil Pan. Insert an adjustable (screw type) arm jack beneath the engine block tab before removing the Engine Mount to engine bolts via the wheelhouse opening. The engine needs to be raised slightly by the adjustable jack for sufficient space to take out the mounting bracket. Through the wheelhouse opening position the Engine Mount to the engine then install the Engine Mount to engine bolts and tighten them to 50 nm (37 lb ft). The engine should descend until the mount lies fully flat against the frame then the jack should be uninstalled. Reinstall the left wheelhouse liner afterward lower the vehicle to install the Engine Mount to frame bolts while starting with the middle bolt and tightening them to 65 nm (48 lb ft). Install the generator bracket followed by inserting the front drive axle if necessary. Finish the installation by replacing the air cleaner outlet duct while lowering down the vehicle.
