How to replace the Hood Cable for the Primary Latch Release on 2011 GMC Savana 1500?

To replace the Hood Primary Cable - raise the hood and remove the cable from the latch and retainer. Push the cable into the cab, remove the left side trim panel and remove the cable handle. Install the new cable, secure the handle, reinstall the trim panel and reconnect the cable and close the hood.
