How to Replace the Air Hose in the Air Cleaner System on Buick Enclave?

An essential first step toward air cleaner outlet duct replacement involves removing the fuel injector sight shield. Unplug both the positive crankcase ventilation fresh air tube from its camshaft cover connection and its quick disconnect attachment. Start by loosening the air cleaner outlet duct clamps which attach to the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor and Throttle Body before removing the outlet duct. Follow these installation steps to replace the air cleaner outlet duct: start with loose installation then replace the fuel injector sight shield for proper clearance before reinstallation. Use 4 nm (35 lb in) torque to clamp the air cleaner outlet duct at the maf/iat sensor and Throttle Body locations. Fit the pcv quick disconnect and pcv fresh air tube to the camshaft cover fitting followed by installation of the fuel injector sight shield.
