How to replace the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor on Buick Enclave?

Drain the engine cooling system before you take out the engine coolant temperature sensor. Push the heat shield for the electrical connector up along the wiring harness and take off the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the ECT sensor . Take the ECT sensor out and set in the new one, tightening it to the supplied torque of 22 N.m (16 lb ft). Hook up the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the ECT sensor and smoothly push the electrical connector heat shield down on top of it. Finally, fill the cooling system.
