  Q: How to replace the ignition coil for Bank 1 on Buick Enclave?

  A: The ignition coil replacement process for Bank 1 requires removal of the underhood bussed electrical center plus detachment of the body wiring harness and engine wiring harness electrical connection clip at the UBEC bracket. Perform these steps to remove the bracket: unscrew the bolt and nuts and then detach the bracket while setting it aside. Begin by disconnecting the engine wiring harness electrical connector(s) from the ignition coil(s) . Then remove ignition coil bolt(s) before taking out the ignition coil(s). To install the ignition coils position them first then adhere to the Fastener Notice instructions. Put the ignition coil bolt(s) under 10 N.m (89 lb in) torque before restoring the engine wiring harness electrical connector(s) to the ignition coil(s) . Use the provided UBEC bracket bolt and nuts to install the bracket at a torque of 10 N.m (89 lb in). Complete the installation by connecting the body wiring harness / engine wiring harness electrical connection clip to the UBEC bracket. Also reinstall the USB-powered external battery (UBEC) afterward.
