How to replace the radiator fan on Buick LeSabre?

The first step for replacing the electric Radiator Fan requires users to disconnect the negative cable from the battery while also removing the upper radiator support bar. First disconnect the wiring harness electrical connector from both the motor and fan bracket. Then remove the transaxle oil cooler pipe bracket bolt fixed to the Fan Shroud along with the two fan mounting bolts. Lift the fan assembly off the lower holding tabs before removing it from vehicle position. To install the fan assembly users should position it between the lower radiator holding tabs while following the fastener notice in service precautions. Fasten the electric Radiator Fan mounting bolts with a tightness specification of 9 nm (80 inch lbs.). Position the transaxle oil cooler pipes through features (1,2) on the Fan Shroud before attaching the transaxle oil cooler pipe bracket bolt onto the Fan Shroud and tightening to 10 nm (89 inch lbs.). After connecting wiring harness electrical connectors to the fan motors you need to reinstall the upper radiator support bar followed by reconnecting the battery negative cable.
