After removing the engine cover you must drain your vehicle's cooling system before you replace the Thermostat (L36). Aggregated point l j 38185 hose clamp pliers operate to loosen the inlet Radiator Hose clamp on the Thermostat Housing before the technician removes the hose from the housing. Begin by removing the bolts securing the Thermostat Housing before taking out the housing and Thermostat. Follow this step with removing the actual Thermostat. Before adding the new Thermostat and the Thermostat Housing you should clean the gasket mating surfaces together with the housing and intake port. Tighten down Thermostat Housing bolts to 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs.) torque or less. To finish the repair you must reinstall the inlet Radiator Hose while clamping it then refill the cooling system before putting back the engine cover.
