How to replace the throttle body assembly on Buick LeSabre?

You should remove the fuel injection sight shield first and drain the radiator coolant when replacing the Throttle Body assembly. Proceed by removing the air cleaner intake duct and disconnecting the idle air control (IAC) valve electrical connector together with throttle position (TP) sensor electrical connector and mass air flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector. Reinstall the electrical harness retainer clip to its original position where it connects with the accelerator control cable bracket. After ensuring throttle movement without binding, attach the accelerator control cable to the accelerator control bracket then Throttle Body lever and follow with the cruise control cable to its designated points between the accelerator control bracket and Throttle Body lever. Rejoin electrical connectors which belong to the mass air flow (MAF) sensor, throttle position (TP) sensor, and idle air control (IAC) valve. The air cleaner intake duct should be installed before filling radiator coolant and reinstalling the fuel injection sight shield.
