How to replace the Headlight Switch on Buick Rainier?

One must open the left instrument panel (IP) access cover then use the access hole to unsnap the 4 retaining tabs on the headlamp switch which resides behind the ip. You must first remove the headlamp switch from the ip through the accessible hole before disconnecting its electrical connectors. Place the new headlamp switch by the access hole after taking it out of the ip then hook up its electrical connectors. Temper the headlamp switch into its proper position within the ip framework by making sure the retaining tabs reach full insertion and complete the procedure by reinstating the left ip access cover.
