To get the door trim panel off to service Power Door Lock Switch, start by picking up the blades to press in the latches; this will allow you to release the lock. Unscrew the two clips that are at the top and bottom of the door lock switch using a small flat-edged tool and remove the connector for the electrical connector from the switch, and then the switch as well. For installation, place the door lock switch onto the trim panel and push until seated fully. Next, reinstall the electrical connector to the door lock switch, reassemble the door trim panel and finally test the lock switch to confirm proper operation.
