  Q: How to replace the front door window motor on Buick Rendezvous?

  A: The first step to change the front door Window Motor entails removing the front door trim panel together with the water deflector. Use tape to secure the window at the top of its position after disconnecting it from the Window Regulator carrier plate. Start by disconnecting the electrical connector from the Window Regulator motor before loosening the bolts that connect both the Window Regulator motor along with the Window Regulator rail. For removal of the front Window Regulator insert the tool through the rear access hole of the door inner panel to pull it out from the key slots. When installing the front regulator you should first thread bolts half-way through the motor and rail before inserting the rail front end through the rear access port and finally attaching the front motor. To install the front Window Regulator, put it into proper key slots on the door and connect it to motor and rail. Secure it with bolts tightened to 11n.m (97 lb in). The front window needs to be attached to the regulator carrier plate while removing the tape before connecting the window. The electrical connector connects to the front Window Regulator motor after installing the water deflector and trim panel needs to be placed back into position.
