    A: The process of replacing the Cruise Control Switch begins by removing the vehicle's Steering Wheel. Make sure to remove the Steering Wheel electrical harness grounding screw before you can free the electrical harness connector retainer clip from the Steering Wheel trim cover. Start by taking out the screws which hold the Steering Wheel rear trim cover before moving onto the Cruise Control Switch screws and the Steering Wheel trim cover . The Cruise Control Switch should be discarded next. The first step in installation requires installation of the Cruise Control Switch followed by the Steering Wheel trim cover. Secure the Cruise Control Switch with screws at 6 n.m (53 lb in) of torque. Start by placing the Steering Wheel rear trim cover screws then secure each screw with 6 n.m (53 lb in) torque. After torqueing the Steering Wheel electrical harness grounding screw to 6 n.m (53 lb in), secure the electrical harness connector retainer clip to the Steering Wheel trim cover before putting back the Steering Wheel into the vehicle.
