How to replace the EGR valve on Buick Terraza?

The first step to replace the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve is to disconnect its electrical connector . The replacement procedure starts by disconnecting the electrical connector and then following with the egr pipe bolt removal and backward pipe assembly pull followed by EGR Valve bolt removal and subsequent removal of the EGR Valve combined with its gasket. Assess the surfaces that will mate with the EGR Valve Gasket for possible cleaning and inspection. The EGR Valve Gasket should be applied prior to mounting the EGR Valve through securing it with EGR Valve bolts that should be tightened to 30 n.m (22 lb ft) using the fastener notice in service precautions. Reset the egr pipe to the EGR Valve before fastening the bolt to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Lastly, join the electrical connector to the EGR Valve.
