  A: The initial step to install a new condenser in an hvac system requires complete recovery of refrigerant from the a/c system. Start by taking off the intake air resonator and the Radiator before uninstalling the condenser tube block fitting bolt and the condenser tube from the condenser. Move both the receiver/dehydrator and the brackets after removing the condenser. The installation process involves guiding the condenser pins through rubber grommets in the frame before installing the condenser tube onto the condenser with new mineral oil-lubricated o-rings of 525 viscosity. Screw and tighten the condenser tube block fitting bolt until it reaches 27 n.m (20 lb ft). The final steps include fitting the Radiator back into place along with the intake air resonator while conducting a/c system evacuation and charging and running a halogen leak detector check on all fittings (J 39400-A).
