    A drain pan should be placed below the power steering fluid reservoir to avoid spills when siphoning fluid. Start by taking off the Power Steering Pump pulley before disconnecting the gear inlet hose from the pump and unclamping and removing the inlet hose leading to the fluid reservoir. Start by raising and supporting the vehicle and after that remove the engine shield and the air injection crossover pipe support bracket by unbolt them from their mounting points. The Power Steering Pump requires removal when all its bolts have been taken out. Position the new Power Steering Pump before you install the pump bolts while tightening them to 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs.). Return the air injection crossover pipe support bracket to its position and install its bolts which you should tighten to 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs.).
