How to replace the radiator fan motor and radiator fan on Cadillac CTS?

Start the replacement process of the Radiator fan and motor by taking away the air deflector and disconnecting the electrical connector of the Radiator fan. The auxiliary transmission cooler lines require disconnecting with the j 44827 (Transmission Cooler Quick Disconnect) because this special tool protects the Radiator and transmission and cooler from damage. Start your procedure by moving auxiliary cooler lines to safety before removing the two bolts that hold the Radiator fan assembly and proceeding to unscrew the lower bolt and the fan assembly bolt and the upper bolt before removing the assembly from the vehicle. Position the Radiator fan assembly inside the vehicle before bolting lower components (1, 2) while tightening them to 6.5 nm (58 inch lbs.). Setup the direct fan assembly bolt by securing it at 6.5 nm torque level, then add all remaining Radiator fan bolts with 6.5 nm torque completion.
