Begin the process of replacing the front seat cup holder by taking out the front center seat assembly. Turning the center seat exposes the bottom part of the assembly for installation. You need to remove the three fasteners from the cup holder assembly before you can reach both the cup holder lid and the center seat for a second time. A strong pull on the center seat cup holder fasteners will allow release of its retainer clips. Put the new center seat cup holder into place by properly inserting it then securing it through strong clip engagement. Use the provided center seat opening to access the bottom space where installation of three center seat cup holder fasteners will take place via tightening them to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in.). Install the center seat assembly as the last step of assembly.
