How to replace the front seat Cup Holder on 2000 Cadillac DeVille?

The replacement of the front seat cup holder starts with taking out the front center seat assembly. After turning the center seat you can see the bottom to take out the three fasteners that secure the cup holder assembly. You should turn the center seat a second time to reveal the access to the cup holder lid. Three clips anchor the center seat cup holder yet you can separate them with enough force after opening the fasteners. The assembly requires removal of its center cup holder. Reposition the center seat cup holder by placing it inside the center seat seat while providing sufficient force to activate the retainer clips. Place the center seat cup holder on the bottom of the assembly by installing the three fasteners at 1.5 N.m (13 lb in) tension. Complete installation by putting back the center seat assembly.
