How to replace the multifunction turn signal switch on Cadillac DTS?

To access the multifunction Turn Signal Switch disable the sir system and remove the Steering Column trims. Unscrew all the retaining fasteners that secure the multifunction switch and disconnect its power wires before pulling the switch free. Reconnect the electrical wires to the multifunction switch then put it properly on the Steering Column. Install retaining screws on the Steering Column trim covers and tighten them to 7 nm while installing both trim covers last. Finally, enable the sir system.
