How to Replace a Fuel Filler Hose on Cadillac Eldorado?

Draining the Fuel Tank should be the first step when replacing the Fuel Filler Hose. Start by removing the fuel fill tube attaching screws from the fuel fill well before raising the vehicle. The first step to replace the Fuel Filler Hose starts by taking out the fuel fill tube cover located in the fender well. Then separate the fuel fill tube from the fuel fill hose by removing its chassis attaching bolt. The operation begins by attaching the new fuel fill tube both to the fuel fill hose and to the fuel fill well followed by installing the fuel fill tube bracket onto the chassis while tightening the fuel fill tube attaching bolt to 10 n.m (89 lb in). The fuel tube cover goes into its fender well position before the fill hose receives the fuel fill tube clamp which should be tightened at 2.5 n.m (22 lb in). Secure the bottom of the vehicle then install the fuel fill tube into the fuel fill well by using the attaching screws and tighten them to 2.5 n.m (22 lb in). After fueling the tank install the fuel fill cap on top.
