  A: Begin replacement of the fuel tank filler pipe housing by opening the door then removing the fuel cap. Commence replacement by first eliminating the fuel filler pocket higher nut that fastens the actuator and afterward unscrewing the 4 pocket retaining washers and then the 3 filler pipe fasteners. The procedure requires you to detach the fuel filler pocket by pulling the release cable rearward. Reposition the fuel filler pocket behind the door latch by pulling the release cable toward the rear once more before installing the 4 fasteners to secure the fuel filler pocket and tightening them to 2 n.m (18 lb in). You need to install 3 fasteners that will secure the filler pipe to the filler pocket by screwing them to 1.8 n.m (16 lb in). Place the fuel filler door release actuator retaining nut tightly at 3 n.m (26.5 lb in) then set the fuel cap and close the fuel filler door.
