How to Service and Repair the Fuel Tank Filler Neck on 2000 Cadillac Eldorado?

In order to replace the fuel tank filler pipe housing, open the fuel filler door and pull out the fuel cap. Take off the nut which holds the release actuator and the fasteners that hold the filler pocket and pipe. Install the parts back in and make sure that they are all tight. Lastly, put the fuel cap and the door closed.
