The service technician must disconnect the air tube from both the air dryer and the electrical connection then remove the air inlet and hose from the fuel filler neck bracket. Before removing the air compressor from the vehicle first loosen its mounting nuts then move the unit towards the rear to clear the frame slots. Install the air compressor by positioning it back into the vehicle after you slide it forwards to lock the fasteners into frame slots followed by tightening the bolts to 15 nm (11 lb ft).
