In the process of replacing the air compressor, first lift and support the vehicle. Clean the parts and environment not to let dirt into the air when disconnecting Air Hose from air compressor. Unplug the air tube from the air dryer and electrical. Take off the air inlet and hose from the filler neck bracket, then loosen the mounting nuts. Slide the compressor rearwards to unclog the frame slots and take off the compressor from the vehicle. Installation: slide the air compressor/s back into the vehicle dentures, slide the fasteners forward into frame slots and fasten to the mounting nuts 15 nm (11 ft.lbs.). Re-install the air inlet hose back on the fuel filler neck bracket, connect the air tube to the air dryer and reconnect the electrical connection. Turn the ignition key prior to driving and wait for about 45 seconds to allow the air adjustable shock absorbers to fill with residual pressure after which lower the vehicle.

To activate the air compressor first lower the vehicle and start the ignition while leaving the engine off. Connect a scan tool and run the air compressor for 30 seconds until the rear elevation begins to rise. Cycle the ignition while enabling the engine to function between the off and on positions to permit the air suspension system to reach its desired rear suspension setting.

Reattach the air inlet hose to the fuel filler neck bracket and fasten the air tube to the air dryer after reconnecting the electrical connection. When you start the engine allow 45 seconds of wait time to fill the air adjustable shock absorbers with residual pressure before lowering the vehicle.
