Clean the Power Steering Reservoir magnet before assessing the welch plug condition in the Power Steering Pump unless its condition indicates pump replacement. Insert the Power Steering Reservoir magnet after cleaning it while you install Power Steering Pump seals (1, 4, 5) on the Power Steering Pump and connect the Power Steering Reservoir to the Power Steering Pump. Studios for the Power Steering Reservoir should be started manually before final torque installation. Fit Power Steering Reservoir studs to the Power Steering Pump assembly while tightening them to 58 n.m (44 lb ft).
