How to replace the emblem/nameplate on the pickup box on Cadillac Escalade EXT?

Apply tape to shield and align the emblem/nameplate before you start. Direct smooth heat from a J 25070 set 152 mm (6.0 in) from the emblem/nameplate for 30 seconds through circular movements. Use a plastic tool to lift the emblem/nameplate and clean the particles from both its surface and backplate when using a 3M scotch brite molding adhesive remover disc to eliminate all residue. Wipe the pickup box surface using VMP varnish makers and painters naptha. Repeat the tape placement if the emblem/site remains without marking. Heat the pickup box surface with the heat gun at 152 mm (6 in) from 21°C (70°F) to avoid touching the emblem backside. Press the front side of the emblem/nameplate onto the box panel by slowly taking off the remaining backing. Press the emblem forward against the pickup box surface using your hands to test if it bonds properly before you take off tape from its surrounding area.
