Cadillac Escalade Headlight Bulb Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to service the front headlight bulb on Cadillac Escalade?
A: Starting the bulb servicing process requires removing both the front grille and headlamp retainer pins until the headlamp assembly pulls out to gain access to the electrical connector so you can disconnect it. The rubber cup needs removal to reach the headlamp bulbs before the bulbs can be extracted. Installation requires you to switch the high beam bulb with another high beam bulb featuring a red gasket as well as the low beam bulb with another low beam bulb having a gray-tipped yellow-based gasket. Complete the installation by attaching new bulbs first before putting the rubber cup and reattaching the electrical connector to the lamp assembly. Put the reinstalled lamp component back into the vehicle while maintaining it through the headlamp assembly retainer pins. Finish by reinstalling the front grille.
