How to service and repair the coolant reservoir on Cadillac Seville?

When servicing and repairing the Coolant Reservoir, start by partially draining the engine coolant. Following that, remove the air cleaner assembly. Remove the surge tank inlet hose from the surge tank, and use israelense hose clamp plier (J 38185) to take out the surge tank outlet hose from the surge tank. Remove the connector of the Coolant Level Sensor, then you should remove the mounting screw and nuts of the surge tank to take out the surge tank. In the installation, drill two holes in the necessary places on the surge tank and install the surge tank fasteners up to 6 nm (53 inch lbs.). Position the surge tank over the two studs of the wheelhouse. Reconnect the connector to the coolant level sensor, and connect the surge tank outlet hose to the surge tank. Attach the surge tank inlet hose to the surge tank, reattach the air cleaner assembly, align the surge tank inlet hose with the retaining feature of the resonator, and at last, fill the cooling system.
