How to service the exhaust hangers and maintain the support of the exhaust system on Cadillac SRX?

Before servicing exhaust hangers while preserving exhaust system support you must first raise and support the automobile. The front exhaust hanger needs to be pried loose from its connection to the rear suspension hanger rod before adding lubrication to the exhaust pipe hanger rod for simpler removal of the hanger. Follow these steps by putting the front exhaust hanger onto the exhaust pipe hanger rod before placing it onto the rear suspension hanger rod. Finally, lower the vehicle.
